Medipol University application
We developed the Medipol University application during the 2020–2023 period. This was the education-side engagement, separate from the hospital admissions solution.
Client work / Medipol
A university application and a separate passport-reading solution for hospital welcome desks, built around two very different everyday workflows.
The university needed an application for its digital services. In the hospitals, welcome-desk staff faced another problem: manually entering unfamiliar international names from passports introduced errors and slowed down admissions.

For Medipol hospitals, we developed a passport-reading application that extracted identity information from the document. It addressed the manual-entry difficulty encountered with international patient names, including patients arriving from Libya.
The hospital project connected document reading to a real operational bottleneck: getting identity details into the admission process accurately. The engineering goal was to remove manual transcription from that step, rather than add another screen for staff to complete.
Passport reading reduced reliance on manually transcribing unfamiliar names and saved time at the welcome desk. The university application addressed a separate digital-service need within Medipol.
